Veedersburg – Mrs. Mabel O. Adkins, 76 of 307 N. Main St, Veedersburg died at 4:50 p.m. Saturday in Americana Healthcare Center, Lafayette. A native of Fountain County, she lived at Rockville for a time before returning to this area 10 years ago. In 1925 she was married to Leslie W. Adkins, who died in 1972. Mrs. Adkins was a member of Veedersburg United Methodist Church and NGO Birthday Club of Kingman and JWG Birthday Club of Veedersburg. Surviving are one son, James Adkins of Lafayette; a daughter, Mrs. Norma Strean of Veedersburg and one sister, Mrs. Ruby Odle of Veederburg.
